We had looked in estate agents windows and scanned the Internet for about a year before walking into Properties Are Us.
There we were greeted by Stuart, and after just a few minutes of being in the office it was like we had known him for ages. He was very helpful and her knowledge of the Island and of the properties for sale was brilliant.
We sat for almost an hour, being shown many apartments and houses in the local area and that same day he had arranged for us to view two apartments. Within 24 hours Stuart had yet another two for us to look at, and this time it was houses.
We fell in love with one, it was just the right size and in the perfect location. We said yes !
After returning back to the UK we had a phone call from Stuart. He had set everything rolling and even sorted out a lawyer for us.
The constant contact from Stuart over the coming weeks was undoubtedly the best service we have ever received from an estate agent. Very professional and excellent at getting the job done.
Within three weeks we had a bank account set up in Tenerife, and to have this done without us being there was fab. He literally took care of everything, making the purchase the easiest and quickest we have experienced.
The shock for us was that within five weeks we were back in Tenerife signing the papers and picking up the keys for our new house ! Fantastic, here starts a new chapter which would never have happened without his help. Stuart even came around with a bottle of Champagne, I definitely have never known of that before !
Stuart helped by making calls and arranging old furniture removal and Internet connection. He even went out of his way to take us shopping for new furniture. We also decided to change the house around a bit and Stuart organised a builder for us, work has commenced and through the dust we can see the light at the end. It’s not going to be a holiday home anymore, it will be ‘Our home’.
He has been an amazing agent, totally focused on his job and paid particular attention to the finer details.
